Creative Adventures in Suffolk

If you are planning a visit to Suffolk this spring or summer, what about joining a photography workshop or nature-themed walk while you are here?

The evocatively named Wild Adventures Under Suffolk’s Skies is a company specialising in themed walks, predominantly along the Suffolk coast. Their programme for the year includes sleepovers on the RSPB’s Havergate Island, birdwatching walks, music-themed walks (based around Benjamin Britten and exploring the landscapes which inspired him), history walks and many options for improving your photography skills.

They will also be offering ten walks during the 2016 Suffolk Walking Festival,  one of which includes a Pilates workshop! The countywide festival is on from Saturday, 14th May to Sunday, 5th June 2016 and further information is available on the festival website.

To find out more about Wild Adventures Under Suffolk’s Skies, please visit their website and peruse their programme. If there is nothing there that takes your fancy, you can also discuss a bespoke adventure or walk, tailored for your group’s interests.

If you are looking for a cosy holiday cottage to stay in on the coast, try Cissy’s Cottage, Queenie’s or Laundry Cottage near Aldeburgh.
