Moreves Barn | Great Waldingfield

Moreves Barn is an outstanding wedding venue in Suffolk, a timber framed barn built in the early 1600‘s set within the grounds of Moreves Manor.

Situated in the Suffolk country- side near the market town of Sudbury, Moreves Barn is within easy reach of Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, Cambridge & Colchester with Sudbury rail links to London.

The barn has been meticulously restored with the utmost attention to detail, offering a unique space for weddings, private parties and corporate events.

Having the luxury of underfloor heating, we can offer a cosy and warm winter venue for a most comfortable celebration. Hand crafted oak features such as the integrated bar, subtly enhance the harmonious atmosphere.

The exterior has been kept as original as possible, ensuring a breathtaking element of surprise as you enter and retains a wealth of rustic features with the freshness we all look for in a venue today.

The main hall, spacious rooms and first floor gallery create an ideal place for the perfect reception. We are now licensed to hold civil ceremonies both indoors and in our open fronted 3 Bay Barn which is most suitable for warmer seasons.

The large pond with its weeping willow trees and magnificent country views makes the perfect back- drop for photographs to capture the special moment.

Our appointed caterers are a locally based company, having many years of experience and an excellent reputation. They can tailor menus to suit you and your budget with an event manager to assist you at every stage.

We allow you to bring your own reception drinks and wine for the meal and do not charge a corkage fee. We can seat up to 120 guests and accommodate 150 for the evening reception.
