Across Suffolk during weekends in June, artists will be opening their studios as part of the Suffolk Open Studios initiative. Members of the public are able to visit the studios, talk to the artists about their process and perhaps even watch a demonstration of their craft. Around 130 studios will be open and a wide range of art will be on show including paintings in oil, watercolour and acrylic; photography, textiles, ceramics, jewellery, glassware, sculpture, printmaking, mosaics and much more.
There are 12 Artist Trails throughout the county, which allows visitors to visit a group of studios which are in close proximity and all open on the same day. To find out more, please visit the Suffolk Open Studios website.
