The Four Horseshoes is a beautiful 12th Century pub, set in the pretty Suffolk village of Thornham Magna, with lots of original features and a roaring log fire.
It’s a family run place and they provide an array of refreshments from early morning breakfast for both guests and visitors to light lunches or a la carte specialities in the Shire Restaurant.
The inn boasts a large bar with inglenook fireplaces and an extensive wine range from across the world as well as the traditional cask conditioned ales and lagers offers the visitor a selection of perfect refreshments
All menus with game dishes being a speciality, are created from fresh produce from local suppliers and with the log fires burning on a winter’s day, or the sun shining in the large enclosed garden you can enjoy some traditional English favourites or innovative European dishes, all day, every day. Coffees and pastries add to the food and drink on offer at this beautiful inn
The Four Horseshoes offers a good, solid pub menu with high standards. In my opinion this is a great pub/ restaurant offering excellent, hearty, fresh food at really reasonable prices. To my mind, this is just a ‘pop out when we fancy a nice meal’ place, without breaking the bank
