The Secret Garden, Sudbury

l1010013_med-1Some of the best coffee in town is to be had at The Secret Garden  and when excellent coffee joins forces with homemade pastries and other delicacies, then you have a winning and irresistable combination.

As well as serving morning coffee and afternoon tea, the owners of The Secret Garden in Sudbury Stephane and Alain, offer a delicious range of French cuisine and fine wines for lunch and dinner.  All of their food is homemade including their jams and bread and they are keen to support local producers by buying seasonal, local and where possible, organic food.

There is a pleasant outdoor seating area for the warm summer months and in the winter, the fires are stoked in both dining rooms of the restaurant, which adds to the warm and hospitable atmosphere

Also on offer at the Secret Garden are French classes, art classes and you can also enjoy regular wine tasting sessions in the restaurant throughout the year, where you get to learn about wines from around the world.

Do pop in next time you are in Sudbury; the restaurant is in Friars Street near the centre of Sudbury and is open Monday to Saturday from 9am – 5pm and Friday and Saturday evenings for dinner, from 7pm.  Tel 01787 372030
