Kessingland Beach | Kessingland

This is one of those beaches that only a few people know about.. it stretches for miles and miles starting at Southwold, going North through Kessingland  and onwards to Lowestoft.

It’s beautifully wild and unspoilt, the perfect place to get away from it all and give the dog the run of his life.

Kessingland was where the famous writer of ‘King Solomans Mines’, Sir Henry Rider Haggard was brought up and lived – obviously a man of taste – he planted marram grass which has protected the beach from erosion suffered elsewhere along the coast.
